Back to School Program
In late August, STEP will be distributing school supplies to St. Louis Park children in need. Our goal is for every child in need to have a fresh start to the school year by providing a new backpack and grade appropriate school supplies. In 2009, we distributed supplies to 600 children and this year we anticipate more, so we need your help!
BACK TO SCHOOL REGISTRATION
St. Louis Park households can register children living in SLP that will be entering grades K-12 in the Fall. Registration started on Monday, July 12th and will continue thru Thursday, August 5th, 2010. Households can register during their food appointments or during walk-in times:
- Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays: 1pm to 2pm
- Tuesdays: 6pm to 7pm
To register, households must bring a picture ID, current utility bill, as well as identification for each child to show date of birth. If there are questions for registration, please call STEP at 952-925-4899.

BACK TO SCHOOL VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
Volunteers are needed to sort school supply donations, pack bags and distribute school supplies. Volunteers must be at least 12 years old for these volunteer shifts.
